The 2016 Pontiac US Nationals will feature 2 days of Pontiac Drag Racing. Friday we will have a full day of test and tune available for those wanting to dial in their Pontiac.
Friday Test and Tune gates will open at 8 am
Open time trials will begin at 10 am and go until 4 pm
Gamblers Race Starting at 4:30 pm – with 1’st round buy backs
** Gamblers Race will follow the same rules as the Saturday program rules (see below)
On Saturday we will have TWO Heads Up Pontiac racing classes and 3 Bracket Pontiac Drag Racing classes. The classes are listed below and we will be 1/4 mile drag racing for BOTH days of the Pontiac event. Saturday’s bracket classes will also have 1st round buy backs!

Race Rules
- Super Pro & Pro classes are Pontiac body. Rear Engine and Front Engine Dragsters OK
- Street Class is Pontiac body
- NHRA bracket race rules apply
- All cars must pass tech inspection
- Seat belts, helmets, & fire extinguishers are recommended where not required by NHRA bracket race rules.
- Show cars making time trial passes must comply also.
- Dragsters (RED & FED) must run Traditional Pontiac engines.

Want to race at Beech Bend Raceway for 3 days?
Beech Bend will have their normal Sunday program on June 14th. They wanted to invite all of us Pontiac people to stay and drag race for a third straight day. You will purchase your credentials for Beech Bend’s Sunday program directly from Beech Bend. Please note: Sunday racing is 1/8 mile racing and NOT 1/4 mile.
